RENT PINK YEAR 4

MOBILE, Ala. – Beard Equipment is excited to announce a fourth year of the “Rent Pink” project to support cancer research, care and awareness. As a fundraising event, Beard Equipment donates 100% of the rental revenue from a pink 20 ton John Deere excavator to designated cancer institutions. The pink machine is decaled with ribbons representing the most commonly diagnosed cancers in America and the slogan “digging for a cure” to raise awareness for cancer care and research.

In 2013 the “Rent Pink” project donated $60,000 to USA Mitchell Cancer Center and USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital. In 2014, the project donated $45,000 to Wolfson Children’s Hospital, Sacred Heart Hospital, and USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital.

The “Rent Pink” fundraiser is truly a team effort and would not be possible without the help of Beard Equipment employees. This year, employees over 10 locations were given the opportunity to select where the funds will be donated. Beard Equipment is pleased to donate to the following three organizations: St. Jude Children’s Hospital, USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital and Wolfson Children’s Hospital.

The funds collected from the pink excavator rentals will be donated to these three organizations and individual families fighting cancer. Beard Equipment is delighted to contribute to organizations who are making great strides against cancer, as well as attend to families in need.
